Athletes, pilots, chess players, etc. are famous for being focused, empowered, and resilient but they don't hold exclusive rights to "enhanced" states of mind.
Note 1: The term Meta-State comes from Neuro-Semantics and was coined by L. Michael Hall, Ph.D. in 1994.
Note 2: Meta-States are what you feel and think (at any given time) in your electric mind-body system. It's the voltage that drives you. Whether it's motivation or despair depends, in a large measure, on you.
Have you ever been challenged and didn't have enough momentum to move you forward and gotten stuck? Been left to overcome an obstacle but didn't have the right tool to stiffen your spine and move you forward?
Now, as you think about it, do you feel you could you have gotten in touch with a special part of you to obtain the motivation, determination, and confidence needed? Hi, I'm Dave Jacobi. Your state of mind can propel you and should be looked at first when you want to add vitality and spirit to your life.
Why? Consider the following.
First, your state of mind is always right there; it provides the voltage to get things done. You are always at some state of awareness as you think, believe, decide, and act; as you journey up the road of opportunity.
Second, your state of mind can be your greatest resource; BUT, it can also be your greatest liability. For instance, when you are in a stuck-state, instead of being motivated (to do the best for you and your family), you muddle around, sometimes in emotional pain. Creating and maintaining a positive state of mind can get you out of dreadful states and put the wind at your back.
How can you create and maintain a positive state of mind? How can you become motivated, determined, and confident? By combining a positive feeling with a clear, constructive meaning. It's a simple technique (once you learn it) that can help you go the distance. Staying in a stuck state without the voltage to get out can make life miserable.
Your genetic programming - your emotional machinery - are designed to be developed, used, and made better. Your DNA wants you to evolve. You are not designed for quick off-Broadway runs. You are designed for a long run "on Broadway." You are designed to go the distance.
There is a "NEW" way to think, believe, and act; a new way to become much more motivated, a new way to get out of stuck-states.
Give up the pain and suffering of indecision and go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Give up a quiet life of desperation and live the life you have imagined.
